Summary
The story begins as a prequel to the show, "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power." But quickly goes side by side with it. It is a story that addresses and reveals the moral ambiguity surrounding both the Horde and the Rebellion. This ambiguity includes the strained relationship of Catra/Adora, Entrapta's feelings of her transition between the Rebellion and the Horde, Glimmer's descent towards the dark side, and much more.
Most importantly, the story will feature many new characters, some original, some from the MOTU universe. The most important of these added characters are Brittni and Brett, the Observation Twins born into the Horde whom have the abilities to closely observe, analyze, learn and react much quicker than anybody else on Etheria.
All of these characters will clash to bring you an incredibly ambitious story of She-Ra.

This is the first time I write a fanfic. It’s basically about what happens next after defeating Horde Prime. It consists of: some Etherian celebrations, Horde Prime’s clones, how Catra and Adora relationship goes, and how they cope with what Shadow Weaver left them with. It also has more missions for the best friend squad! It’s basically mixed with a lot of events, and I hope it’ll also put a smile on your face, or even make you laugh, because there are some funny scenes!

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.

“Seriously, Adora. All that money for, like, holding hands in front of a camera? It can’t get easier than that. You endured me for like, ten years? I’m sure you can power through these four weeks.” She gets up and leans on the back of her chair, getting closer to Adora’s face. “Just don’t fuck it up and we’ll be fine.”
Adora scowls at her and forces herself to not start another argument. Catra ignores it and turns away.
“See ya later, girlfriend.” She says over her shoulder.
Girlfriend. Adora shudders at that word.
Only after Catra is gone Adora remembers they didn’t even plan anything out. She closes her eyes and rubs her temples again, taking another deep breath. Four weeks of pretending to be Catra’s girlfriend. Those are about to be the longest weeks of her life.

Catra doesn't hang up. She waits, listens to the sound of her ex-girlfriend's breathing becoming more regular, waits so much longer than she should. "Adora?" She asks quietly. When she gets no response from the sleeping girl, she takes a deep breath and whispers "I love you," before finally disconnecting the call.
Sometimes if you love someone, you let them go, even when they don't want you to.
