Catra’d searched. She’d grown frustrated and desperate until she’d scoured every inch of bare flesh until there was nothing left unexplored but the scalp of her own head, but she’d known her aunt would skin her alive if she shaved it all off in a fit of heartbreak.

“Adora, that’s not possible! You’re just being par—" Glimmer started to say but was interrupted.
“You aren’t LISTENING to me!” Adora shouted. Turning around to face them, tears in her eyes and hands balled into fists, shaking.
Catra ran over to Adora’s side, sitting her on the ground and beginning to hug her gently, “Hey, hey it’s ok Adora.” She said, rubbing circles into Adora’s back as she started to cry.
