Summary
Rukawa Kaede returns home after four long years of university in America. When he graduates he finds himself returning to a very different Kanagawa than he’s used to, plagued by thoughts of what could’ve been. These worries worsen when he comes across an old rival in an unfamiliar place.
After their relationship was left on bad terms, Sakuragi Hanamichi wonders if what he felt for Rukawa was even real. He graduates high school and picks up two jobs as a sushi chef and baker to pursue a career that he never expected he would. But his whole life is thrown into chaos when a certain raven haired man shows up at his workplace.

After Hanamichi Sakuragi’s surgery, he is forced to live at someone else's house, but without a relative who wants to accept him because of his appearance, he will try and ask his friends to let him live with them, but unfortunately, their parents do not want him there either. His last resort was to ask his teammates but was too embarrased to asked them, the one who invited him was a surprise.

Hanamichi Sakuragi does not know much. He doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut or when to stop pushing people’s patience. Hell, he can’t even tell if he’s overstepped boundaries he’s not supposed to cross. Academically he’s just as bad. Summary
Miyagi can count the times when he almost caught a heart attack on the fingers of a single hand. When Aya-chan told him he’s about to become the number one point guard, when Mitsui showed up at basketball practice to beat him up, but most importantly - when Hanamichi, apparently begging to get killed, slapped Rukawa’s ass right before another match. Miyagi stopped dead in his tracks, ready to call the ambulance that very moment, when Rukawa turned his head to Hanamichi and… did nothing. “What the fuck?..”
Or, 4 times Miyagi witnesses Rukawa and Sakuragi being weirdly civil with each other, and 1 time it finally clicks why.
