Summary
“You have no idea what you’re talking about, man. None of that was me showing off for Nance.”
“Oh, yeah? Then what was it?” Jonathan challenges. “Were you showing off for Robin, the girl that you’re constantly insisting is your ‘forever platonic best bud—’” he says with air quotes “—or Eddie?”
After a terrible start to their latest crawl, tensions rise in the SQWK van when Jonathan confronts Steve about his efforts to win Nancy back. Steve has no idea what he's talking about.

Summary
Robin and Steve are inseparable after the Night of the Demodogs and Bathroom Confessions. Steve wants to date Munson - for some unknown reason - and Robin wants to date Chrissy - because she is a perfect angel. Can they land some queer cuties in small-town hell? Can they survive High School and Scoops Ahoy together?
The characters’ goals might be to land a date, but the story's goal is 100% more platonic stobin being dumbasses together. There will be some Steddie, some Buckingham, and a bunch of Steve and Robin sharing one brain cell.

Summary
Dustin has a brilliant idea. (Of course he does.)
He ropes Eddie into running a D&D club at the Hawkins community center and ropes Steve into being the designated Snack Provider. What starts as chaos with Capri Suns, dice disasters, and far too many goblins slowly turns into a routine that feels a little too much like home.
The kids begin calling Eddie Dad and Steve Mom without thinking about it.
Dustin absolutely does think about it. (And he is unbearably smug about it.)Somewhere between late-night campaign planning, shared rides with the windows down, and Steve’s steady hand under the table, Eddie and Steve realize the kids may have seen the truth first.
Or where:
Eddie is the dramatic Dungeon Dad, Steve is the overprotective Snack Mom, Dustin is very proud of himself, and accidentally starting a family turns out to be the most natural thing in the world.

Summary
Steve paused. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I love you,” Eddie said, so sincerely it made Steve blink. He leaned in and kissed the tip of Eddie’s nose. Eddie went a little cross-eyed to watch him.
“I love you too,” Steve breathed as Eddie pulled back. He took his hand and they kept walking.
Then: a rustle in the bushes.
Eddie immediately crouched down and crept toward it.
Steve sighed, already knowing.
“Eddie, please don’t try to bring another squirrel home.”
“Shhh.” Eddie hissed, reaching for the skeleton arm still poking out of his back pocket.
“Give me some of your muffin.”
Steve looked at the banana muffin in his hands, pinched off a bite, and handed it over without protest. This wasn’t his first rodeo.
Eddie smushed the muffin chunk onto the plastic fingers and slowly reached the arm into the bushes.
Steve knelt beside him. Eddie shot him a glare and turned back.
“I need to get you in for your rabies shot—”
Eddie clapped a hand over his mouth.
“I will kill you,” he mouthed.

Summary
“You said you wanted to make up for how much of a dick you were to Sinclair before Spring Break.”
Eddie rolls his eyes even if he did say that. “Yeah, but I was thinking more like, letting him roll with advantage on our next campaign or something.”
“Supporting him during the first game of the season is better,” Steve says snobbishly.
And it might be. After all, the whole thing happened because of a basketball game.
But–
“Do I really have to wear this?” Eddie asks with a whiny tilt to his voice.

Summary
“He’s insane.” Max whispers.
“He’s awesome.” Dustin grins.
“He’s hot.” Eddie laments.
The two kids whip toward him. Dustin furrows his brow. “What?”
“He’s not.” Eddie amends. “I said he’s not. Not awesome.”
-- OR --
Eddie gets to experience the junkyard scene and helps take care of Steve in the aftermath.
The kids are there too. Menaces (affectionate).
