Takemichi didn’t know what expression was on his face, but he could see Kisaki’s and it was slowly dawning in fear. His glasses were partially fogged and they had snow, blood, and sweat on the lenses. He blinked before realizing he’d lost them a long time ago.
(He could’ve sworn the boy was wearing a suit, a single tear rolling down his cheek.)
He could feel the words on his tongue.
