Summary
In one universe, Techno manages to snag a Totem of Undying, send a pickaxe through Quackity’s left jaw, and flee victoriously with Phil laughing in the background.
In another universe, Techno is not so lucky. He has no choice but to kneel there in a tiny cage, helpless to spare his mentor from watching the anvil tumble downward and turn him into a bloody pancake, leaving him to respawn back at base, item-less and horse-less.
This universe is neither of those. Not only does Techno manage to stay true to his ‘never die’ mantra, Phil is even given a little help committing a minor crime of his own by breaking out of his house arrest right after the Butcher Army pulls the fateful lever.
And it’s all thanks to… a guy in a red hoodie?

“Boo?” Micheal grunted, one of the only words the piglin had bothered to put in his vocabulary. His father said nothing, only straightening to a standing position and revealing a pair of purple eyes replacing his usual green-and-red ones. They glowed ominously on his black-and-white face, leaving slight purple tunnels of light piercing through the dim light.
“Boo?” Micheal repeated, a little more desperate this time. His father stared blankly, as if unsure of what to do. Micheal’s excitement was corrupting into merciless anxiety. Dad was never this quiet. Dad was never this scary.or
