"Don't stop."
It was a command, and had it been anyone else ordering him around, Lalo would have blown their brains out. But Nacho was special. Nacho had always been special. Lalo bent forward, pressing a kiss to the curve of Nacho's throat. He said, "Careful, cariño. Just 'cause we're married now doesn't mean you get to be the boss."

Summary
Lalo seems as unperturbed as ever, spidery shadows twitching on his cheeks, when his eyes move behind his closed lids.
He’s still just mouthing along to the lyrics, his whole profile illuminated by the sun, every pore, wrinkle and hair follicle made visible, an effect only exacerbated by the slight sheen of sweat on his skin.
Unwittingly, Nacho’s reminded of that documentary on deep-sea life Jo and Amber had running in the background yesterday while they were high out of their mind. Of the anglerfish dangling a light in front of unsuspecting fish. Look at me, it screams. Dig your teeth in, gorge yourself. But just when you think yourself safe, when you get too close – a snap of teeth and you’re over. Done for.
Nacho is that fish. Perhaps even stupider, considering he knows exactly what he’s facing.
(AU in which soulmates can only speak the truth to one another, and Nacho's already crappy situation takes a turn for the worse when he's confronted with a sudden inability to lie to Lalo.)

"You gonna let me dress you up for the wedding?"
Nacho glanced up from the silk sample in his hands. It was smooth and cool, and it slipped against his skin like water. "Yeah, you can dress me up."
"In a dress?" Lalo asked with a grin. "I bet white lace would look amazing on you."

Summary
"You dream about me." Nacho - or this thing that looked like Nacho - stepped closer. "You call out for me in your sleep." It reached for Lalo, and when it touched the back of his neck, at the same spot where its own vertebrae were exposed, he shuddered. Its fingertips were so cold they burned. Lalo would have done anything to have Nacho touch him like this when he was alive, and it felt traitorous now. This wasn't the Nacho he wanted. But, he thought, it was better than no Nacho at all. "You pray for my soul when you think God isn't listening."
In which Lalo is confronted by a recently-dead Nacho, which follows him from the end of its own life through the end of his.
Basically an expansion of this fic!
