Yuri, the night manager at the Ashen Wolf Café, probably shouldn't have given himself five all-nighter shifts in a row. Alas, he did, and now he's stuck managing the more-than-eclectic night-shift employees while also fighting off sleep deprivation.
Still, it isn't all bad. Balthus hasn't lost a bet against a customer for a week, Hapi's kept her complaining to a minimum, and Constance hasn't secretly added a wild syrup to anyone's drink. And throughout it all, Yuri has another person to help him keep going. Because tucked in the far corner of the café is Bernadetta, typing away at her newest manuscript.

Flor stills, nearly dropping the coffee funnel. “I—cloves?”

The Archives were a total mess—books scattered everywhere, some of the servers had reset themselves, and notes with scribbles and symbols he didn't recognize were pinned to a board against the wall.
But in the middle of it all sat Dan Heng, head in his hands as he mumbled incoherently, not even sparing Caelus a glance. He probably didn't even hear him coming in.
“Dan Heng?” The Trailblazer spoke softly as he took a tentative step forward.
Or,
Caelus has begun to notice some strange changes ever since their return from the Xianzhou Luofu. Dan Heng has become much more reclusive in his room in the Archives and refuses to go out unless strictly necessary. It isn't until a scream in the middle of the night wakes him that Caelus decides to take action.
