Summary
After the shift from hell — Langdon back, Robby leaving, the new attending already on her case — Trinity Santos is just trying to finish her beer in peace.
Then Baran Al-Hashimi walks into the bar alone, and Trinity Santos makes a series of increasingly questionable decisions she will definitely not be thinking about on Monday.
OR
Dr. Al-Hashimi spent all day telling Trinity what to do.
The night goes differently.

Summary
“She’s really something, isn’t she?” Dennis whispered, sidling up to Trinity, a half eaten granola bar in his hand. “So… precise.”
Trinity snorted. “She’s a robot, Huckleberry. A very well dressed, anal retentive robot.”
“But she’s good,” Dennis murmured, almost to himself. “She caught that arrhythmia in South 5 before anyone else did.”
Trinity shot him a look. “Don’t go over to the dark side, Whitaker. We’re suffering together.”
He gave her a sympathetic grin. “You gonna get those charts done?”
AKA: Trinity is stuck in a constant toxic cycle with Garcia, and maybe finds something different in a particular doctor that drives her crazy in more ways than one.

Summary
She does not move at first. Lying still lets her pretend, for a brief moment, that maybe the stiffness is temporary. Maybe she slept wrong and it's not her body reminding her that fifteen straight years of gymnastics will always exact their price eventually. Her lower back gives a deep-tissue, miserable twinge. Every joint in her body is stubbornly reminding her that they exist. Trinity swallows and stares out the window, blinds open into the backyard so that she can watch the rain drip off the plants in the garden. Baran will be happy about that, at least. Maybe it will even outshine her disappointment for Trinity once again not delivering on a promise.
