Everything was just great. Harrow was defeated, him and Layla were… working on it, he didn’t have to deal with the stupid bird, and Steven definitely wasn’t bothering him about whatever had happened during the battle in Cairo. Nope not at all. The best strategy Marc had found for his problems was to ignore them.
