Whether it’s a text addressed to Adrien, or information for a bakery customer, or a photo she wanted to send to Alya, – Marinette repeats her mistake over and over again. At first, Felix gets annoyed, then mocks her, but one day his answer changes the whole course of their communication...

Over the past few weeks, he has changed tactics, and seemed to gradually become friends with everyone in class, except her. And it very much reminded Marinette of a situation she’d been in before... with Lila.
“And what am I after, Miss Dupan-cheng, if I dare to ask?” The young man inquired, looking at her with an attentive, studying gaze, as if she were not a person, but a laboratory experiment, which he observed while peeping into the flask.

“And why would I bring coffee for all of them?” He asked with an annoyed voice, finally slipping the cup into her hand and letting it go.
“And why would you bring coffee for me?” She asked with the same suspicion with which she was still looking at the cup of heavenly drink in her hands, which instantly warmed her palms in the chilly London wind.
“Lest you fall asleep on my shoulder and wrinkle my suit, obviously.” Felix replied as if it should’ve been understood even without explanation, and got on the bus, walking past her.
Oh.
Right.
That explains it...
Of course the coffee he brought was just to keep his flawless suit flawless! And how even for a second it could have seemed to her that Felix Fathom – always cold and impartial – was capable of caring for someone other than himself.
