When recently divorced, thirty-five year-old, overworked tax accountant Louis Tomlinson gets sent on a two-week vacation to Aruba by his best friend, he automatically assumes it's going to be two weeks of panicking about all of the work he's missing and staying holed up in his room. But then, right on his first night in Aruba, he meets Harry Styles, the cheeky, crass, and charming waiter and up-and-coming musician. Who happens to only be eighteen years old.
Nonetheless, a whirlwind romance kicks up between Louis and Harry, and Louis finds himself falling for the boy in a way he hadn't thought he could fall again after his divorce. But as Louis' two weeks in Aruba come to a close and Harry finds himself standing on the cusp of the fame he's always craved, Louis has to make the decision of whether or not he's going to stay with Harry, or leave him behind in Aruba, and it turns out to be the toughest decision Louis ever has to make.

Harry is the beloved prince of a small kingdom, Louis is the court jester, and Liam's the put-upon personal guard to the prince. They meet Niall and Zayn on a rather clandestine trip to the local market and eventually, through some trial and error, a friendship is made. The months pass and the five grow closer and closer.
Then a series of incidents makes it clear that perhaps Harry isn't so beloved. The queen, fearing for her son's life, instructs Liam to take him away during the pre-dawn hours. Reluctantly, they leave the others behind and head out.
They should know, however, that keeping Louis, Niall, and Zayn away isn't so easy.

Louis Tomlinson is the new lead singer of The Diamond Rogue; he was picked by the record company to replace Aiden Grimshaw, the band's current lead singer. The problem? No one, not even the band, know who he is or what he looks like.
The Diamond Rogue is a close-knit group forged through an X-Factor rejection and a searing, record breaking first album. To the public, they seem like best friends, but tensions are rising between Aiden Grimshaw and Harry Styles and the whole band has taken sides. Tired of the constant fighting, Aiden has decided to resign; his replacement could either be a new bloke or Harry himself. As the band are understandably wary of a new member, they've made their opinion very clear: Harry is the only lead singer they'll accept.
Sure of success, one of the label execs comes up with a plan: Louis will pose as a journalist along for the ride and get to know the band that way. If they don't click, Louis steps down and no one will ever be the wiser. If they click, he'll reveal himself and take his new position.
