It seems as though Parrot had given up all of the anger and disappointment Leo was expecting to see. There was no fight left in the bird to even pretend to be angry; instead, letting the exhaustion rise to the surface like a rotting fish with nowhere else to go.

With each word seeming to cut deeper and deeper, Parrot bit his lip, before finally glancing back up at the man in front of him. In an instant, Parrot had collapsed forward, wrapping both arms tightly around Flame, gripping onto the fabric of his jacket and catching him off guard.
