Summary
John Watson builds himself from the ground up. He brings a whole new meaning to "pulling yourself up by the bootstraps". From toe to head, he's a man made of blood and tears. Until he meets Sherlock Holmes. Then he's a man made of blood and friendship.
But, John Watson has a secret. He's not ashamed, per say, but he's built too much to see it crumble because of something as random as biology. And, he tells himself, this secret shouldn't matter. This secret shouldn't get to dictate his life. And it certainly shouldn't influence he and Sherlock's friendship.
Jim Moriarty, however, seems to have other ideas.A brother who tries to play matchmaker and gets out done by fate herself, a monster who just wants to see people burn, and two men who are too in love to care about either of the above.

Summary

As John meets the elder Holmes' for the first time, his nerves bring on a minor bout of dysphoria. He begins to contemplate what family means. Quickly, John comes to realize he's found an answer in the Holmes'.
Weddings and blessings, love and loss, all these things go hand in hand, building John up, and strengthening his relationship with the love of his life, Sherlock.

John is more than a little overwhelmed by the amount of planning and work that's supposed to go into his wedding with Sherlock.
If John had it his way they'd abandon all the flowers and catering menus and run off to the courthouse.Sherlock, on the other hand, has thrown himself into it head first, completely immersing himself in thousands of color samples and drowning in napkin folding tutorials.
Greg intervenes, conversations are had, the boys compromise on the (not so big) day.
