Gray finds out about Natsu being E.N.D/Zeref’s brother and tries to follow through with his goal. Natsu does not fight back b/c he likes Gray. Gray is about to perform the killing blow but is unable to b/c he loves Natsu too much.

Prompt given to me by uzukun89 way back in 2015:
I think it was something along the lines of Gray losing control of his devil slaying magic and then Natsu and the others having to save him (you know with the idea of the dragon slayers turning into full-fledged dragons when they go off the deep-end). Either way it was a fun prompt to write -- even if I had to ignore the whole E.N.D reveal to make the story work properly XD
