Summary
Trying to deal with his decision to mentor team seven, Kakashi asks Iruka for help.
“You could always ask for help,” Kurenai suggested.
“There’s no one that I—” Kakashi said, pausing when he saw the newest patron take a seat at the bar, “Excuse me.”
Picking up his bottle of sake and the matching cup, Kakashi sauntered toward the bar. He eased himself onto a stool and looked at the man next to him. Waiting patiently for him to complete his order, Kakashi greeted him.
“Hello, Iruka,” he said, “Don’t see you here very often.”
“Long day,” Iruka said.
“Tell me about it,” Kakashi muttered, “I was wondering if you could assist me with something?”
“What could I possibly help you with?” he asked.
“I was wondering if you’d be willing to give me some advice on how to teach my team,” Kakashi replied, “It’s not going very well.”

Summary
Ibiki has a particularly rough day, but things aren't always as they seem.
Thinking about who could possibly be on the other side at that hour while tugging a pair of shorts up his body, he was muttering to himself as he walked purposefully toward the door, flinging it open to reveal his unexpected guest. He could barely contain the shock he felt upon seeing them.
“What are you doing here?” he asked warily.
“I wanted to apologize,” Anko replied, her usual snarky tone missing, “Can I come in?”
Opening the door slowly, Ibiki was unsure about sharing his sanctuary as she walked in. It had been a serene night, and he hoped she wouldn’t ruin it. He leaned against the counter dividing the living room and kitchen after he shut the door, folding his arms while waiting for her to speak. Taking forever to reveal her reason for being there, he prompted her.
“Well?” Ibiki asked.
“I wasn’t very nice to you today,” she admitted, creeping toward him, “I’m used to putting up with the idiots normally there, and I probably put you on the spot."

Summary
Izumo and Kotetsu have been best friends for as long as they remembered, but it only takes one night to change it all.
The day hadn’t been too terribly bad. Kotetsu was quite helpful for the first three hours, eventually losing interest when his stomach began to rumble from hunger. Izumo pulled out his lunch pail and they ate under a large tree near the training fields. Kotetsu’s breath was taken away that his friend had brought him something, Izumo rolling his eyes for the fifteenth time that day and declaring he always packed enough for both of them.
“Yeah, but it’s oden. You know this is my favorite,” Kotetsu said before slurping a mouthful of broth.
“Yes, I know. Yesterday I made my favorite and the day before I brought some fish I had leftover from the night before,” Izumo said, “It’s not always about you.”
“Maybe, but the day before that it was tuna. The day before that you left the bitter melon out of my salad,” he said, glancing at Izumo when he squirmed.
“Just what I had on hand. Be happy you get fed,” Izumo said, “If I left it up to you, you’d eat stale bread or crackers for every meal.”
“This is why I have you,” Kotetsu said, grinning as he leaned against him.
