Summary
Tommy is bottled away, frozen in photographs and remembered in scuff marks on the skirting board. His name is in writing and his possessions are in his room. There’s a space that will always be there and can never be filled. There will always be a red bandana, and a third macaroon and a hot chocolate gone cold.
Perfect, precious, preserved, and private. His pages, start to finish, have been stolen from the book and locked away. There’s nothing left in the story for people to flip back to and remember. Not even an epilogue.
Unless Wilbur can change that.
Wilbur goes to stay with an old friend, in the full belief that he only has one son.
Turns out that's not true; there's a younger son, or there was.He's an absolute menace. And also a bit dead.

Summary
If there was another path, one that wouldn’t hurt the people he still cared for, he’d have taken it. But quite frankly, Tommy’s empathy for them had faded significantly; none of his friends had visited him as he wasted away in exile, despite promising to.
So, here he was, standing at the very end of the path he had chosen, and gazing deep into the chasm. He tried to seem scared of the lava that awaited him and hoped it didn’t appear forced. They had to believe.
AU where Tommy is a Magma hybrid, and faked his death during his exile in order to start over. But two years later, after a botched portal, Tubbo finds his old friend again.
The only thing is, is Tommy ready to integrate himself back into society with the people that betrayed him all those years ago?

The flowers on his grave are a red and white blur.
It feels like he’s looking through a smoke screen. From his new world to his old.
Tommy can see, objectively, that it’s raining on the Dream smp, drenching the funeral party, but he isn’t really there. He’s far away. Far from the place he took his first steps, second chances, last breaths.
But he knows he’s safe here, because he’s separate....
He’s dead. He’s alive. He’s falling.
No matter how hard he tries, he can’t escape the mask, the fist, the crying obsidian. Even as the heat of the lava burns his non-existent skin and the stars dotting his vision turn to blood.
Or, GhostInnit watches his own funeral, then freaks out and ends up falling through space and time, past all his memories.

Summary
The piercing whistle of something hurtling overhead, growing ever closer. Tommy looked up too, scanning the sky for the source of the sound.
The trees, the blades of grass, the very air around them seemed to shake in fear. Tommy’s would not be the only life lost, she thought. So much nature was going to be destroyed.They were too close, both of them, but it was ok. She had lives to spare. Tommy did not.
She closed her eyes, clutching the compass to her chest as the noise grew louder.
“Niki what- oh my god… NIKI, RUN!” Tommy screamed.
Forgive me, Wilbur. She whispered into the darkness. You of all people should understand the meaning of necessary evils.
She didn’t want to die.
She knew she had to, but she did not want to die.Then, someone grabbed her arm and her eyes flew open, just in time to see Tommy fling her backwards.
He saved her even as she killed him. She’d killed him even as he saved her.
Niki and Jack are successful in their plans to use project dreamcatcher to their advantage. Phil is a God who is not quite ready to send another son's soul away.

“The Crow Academy,” Techno began, “was established by the Crow Father in order to give magical kids, like your brother, a safe space to practise their magic, away from the threat of those who frown upon it. In this day and age, those most in danger live in the poorer villages. You may not be able to afford to send him here, but look me in the eyes and tell me Tommy can afford not to go."
Wilbur’s eyes met Technoblade’s. He thought of his brother. Or rather, he thought of everyone who had ever thrown Tommy a dirty look as they passed. People who threw around the word 'monster' as if they weren't talking about a literal child. And all the rumours and stories. The threats, the stigma, the fires, and the nightmares. And Tommy, shaking, scared, not knowing why he couldn't control his magic.
Any protest Wilbur had died on his tongue.

Tommy's volatile magic means that the Crow Academy might be his only chance of surviving to adulthood.
And Wilbur, having no magic of his own, might have to trust that the famed magic school will raise his brother right. But its not easy to trust what he's always been told to hate.
