Summary
A four part series, beginning with Never Meet Your Heroes, exploring events following season 1 with a focus on the minor characters- specifically, Black Pete, Lucius, Oluwande, Jim, Frenchie, and Izzy.
Blackbeard has done a lot of wrong in the months since Stede Bonnet's abrupt departure from Barbados- the most heinous wrong, of course, being the murder of Lucius Spriggs. When Stede Bonnet returns and reconciles with the man he loves, what happens to those Blackbeard has hurt the most?
Basically a bunch of character studies surrounding the effects of Ed's actions, trauma, healing, and finding peace and family in unexpected places.

What if people writing the show actually gave a fuck and put even half of the attention and care from this series into their own work... A beautiful what-if/fix-it scenario and man, is this series great. Yeah, honestly, always a bit speechless when I think about the unique pov of Pete and the uncertian desire to heal that surrounds so many of the characters. I just love this SO much
