Set in the year 1925, this story follows the life of 34 year old Montgomery Burns, a wealthy tycoon and gadabout taking advantage of the business opportunities of the Roaring 20s with his frivolous shindigs. However, his grandfather wants him to settle down, marry, and further the family line since he is the only heir. In order to avoid being betrothed to his cousin, Monty flees to France along with his best friend Nigel and their Yale buddies. Without his parties and women, Monty is forced to face his internal strife and repressed bisexuality. Summary
Set in the mid 1990s, this story continues where "Burns To Smithereens" left off in following the relationship between Montgomery Burns and his assistant, Waylon Smithers. While Mr. Burns has come to terms with his bisexuality, he still struggles with internalized homophobia and his inability to communicate his feelings. Between the publicity of his relationship with Smithers and the unresolved romantic history with his friend Nigel, he has his share of emotional turmoil and longs for a chance to relive the Roaring 20s. Smithers convinces him to host an old-fashioned shindig, and it's amongst the glamor and liquor that he's reminded that his newfound enemy, Michael De Graaf, is still out for blood.
