Summary
The chosen king of Sumeru is the last person who'd want the position, but they say the best leaders are those who want the throne the least.
Alhaitham has done his best to maintain a peaceful and crime-free Sumeru with the help of his matras and council.
But a dearth of omegas have caused a rise in crime in relations to them and a leak within Alhaitham's court has allowed the protected omegas identities to be revealed, resulting in some suspicious disappearances.
The recently promoted Mahamatra is steadfast on the case, the first to discover the leak. Thus Alhaitham and Cyno team up in secret to reveal the traitor before more omegas are taken.
