His breath coming even faster, Boil shuts his eyes tight and puts every ounce of effort into moving… something. Anything. His fingertips tremble slightly, but nothing else in his body responds.

Summary
Waxer turns on his heel, and Boil doesn’t have time to think - he drops his bucket and runs right at Waxer, colliding with him before Waxer can get more than a few steps outside the medtent. They hit the ground and Waxer twists underneath him. Waxer’s strong, but his movements are erratic and panicked, and Boil manages to pin him. Waxer’s hyperventilating, eyes rolling wildly in his head, pupils blown wide and dark, and he’s struggling to get out from under Boil.
“No!” he gasps out. “No, let me go! We need… we need to run!”
“Wax! Wax, calm down, it’s me!”
Waxer continues as if he didn’t hear Boil at all. “We have to… to run… lemme go!”
“From what, Wax? Run from what?”
