Any resolve Pearl has left regarding her unfinished terraforming dissolved, and she sighed fondly. “A picnic sounds wonderful, Gem. Where are we going?”
Gem lit up, eyes widening. “It’s a surprise! You’ll just have to come with me!” Gem said, grabbing Pearl’s arm to start tugging her along.
Gem and Pearl have a cute springtime picnic together.

Gem acknowledged this through a haze, finding the aforementioned booth and setting her bag down. She sat there, lost in thought and self-pity, until an unfamiliar voice made her look up.
“A chai latte with oat milk and brown sugar syrup, for Gem?” The woman spoke, Gem’s drink on her platter.
Wow, she's pretty.
