Summary
‘Straw Hat’ Monkey D. Luffy and ‘Surgeon of Death’ Trafalgar D. Water Law were known throughout the New World as an alliance that had been strong and weathered many different fights. From their first encounter, two years prior after the events of Marineford, when the older captain had saved Luffy’s life on a whim, making sure he was healed enough to do what needed to be done for the future. Then they met one another again in the New World at Punk Hazard, where Law proposed an alliance between their two crews, though his wasn’t present in the moment.
Luffy accepted and like that, they did everything in their power to turn the entire world on its head once more. They say that those who bear the Will of ‘D’ will bring a storm…it’s never been accounted for what could happen when two bearing that same will meet and work together from beginning to end.

“It’s fine!” Usopp beamed happily, hands clapping together as he brought Sanji’s up in front of them. “Two people working on the same hobby makes it worth all the while, when you think about it. It’s a bonding experience, if you ask me!”
“An experience worth doing with you.” murmured Sanji, watching Usopp’s eyes light up even more.

Law said nothing, but his eyes continued to stare at the large bonfire, nails digging into his arms just the slightest bit. “I…I’m not fond of fire. Never have been and I don’t think I ever will be.”
“Well, now that’s just a lie.” sighed Cora, rolling his shoulder with a wince. “You didn’t like fire when you were a child, but I think almost ten years later, you might actually have a small spot for it after all.”

Zoro wouldn’t lapse on his duties as Vice Captain just in case something did happen, he wanted it to be because they were good at hiding and not the fact that something actually slipped from his sights.

Summary
“It’s not fair…! Cora-san should’ve lived! Not me!” wailed Law, no longer able to hold it together while his hands fisted into the blankets underneath them. “He was such a good person, he even took someone like me under his wing and tried to make me a better person! It’s not fair, Luffy! Why…why does it still hurt so much!?”
“It hurts because you love and miss him.” Luffy whispered, eyes distant as he spoke. “Me and Ace were the same way when we thought Sabo died. We thought we were doing everything for him, Ace even tried to live only for him and me, but…it never stops the pain. It never makes it go away.”

Its name rotated almost frequently. Law’s Chamber of Solitude, his Sensory Deprivation Hole…at some point, Shachi had even joked and called it Law’s hole in the wall.
All they knew was that it was a cozy spot that Law could just sleep and exist without having to constantly worry about plans, their safety and their health, while putting his own at risk and that it was a requirement in their travels as pirates.

“Tr…ea…sure? ...me?”
“Yeah! You’re my one and only treasure.” Rosinante grinned, watching as Law blinked at him in obvious confusion. “I may have saved you because you reminded me of someone, but the more I get to see you grow and get stronger the more I come to care about you. The more I want to love and treasure you, so you’re my one and only treasure.”

“What are you talking about, ‘sopp?” Sanji placed the mask back down, a small frown on his face as he took a puff from his cigarette. “Just because you gave the outfit a name, doesn’t mean that it’s a person. At the end of the day, you were the one wearing it and doing everything behind it. It’s just a costume.”
“No…no it’s not.” Usopp slammed his hands on the table, snatching the mask back and looking at it sadly. “I’m not brave. I’m not strong. I can’t even fight for myself."

He’d gotten the tattoo as a sign to Cora about how much he appreciated and cared about him, which the blond took with a wide grin and many tears and hugs, despite his adoptive son’s grievance and complaints.

“Hm?” Ace tilted his head to look at Marco, carmine eyes attentive and a raised eyebrow to be paired with the look. “What’s up, Mar?”
“...I know everyone has said that it’s the ‘mythical’ zoan fruit Tori Tori no Mi Model Phoenix, but the truth is…” Marco looked conflicted for a moment, before he heaved a sigh. “It’s not…I never ate a Devil Fruit. I know better than that, they look completely different from regular fruits.”
