  Hannah had been up since before the sun rose with charlie. She had tried not to wake alex, but when her baby girl came into her room, waking her up. At first all she wanted to do was roll over and tap alex to deal with it.

  But alex had been stressed and working a whole lot more. So she opened her eyes and mumbled out something along the lines of “what’s going on?” She thought charlie just had a bad dream. Or had just wanted to lay with her parents. But when charlie had sniffled and said “i threw up” before punctuating it by throwing up on the carpet at her feet.
