Did she only sign up for this stupid fucking conference because Dennis would be there? Perhaps. Was she happy when Abbot asked if anyone would be willing to share a room and her and Dennis were the only two to raise their hands? Who’s to know! (Jesse does, he could see the glee in her eye even if she managed to keep the squeak out of her voice.) But that does not mean she planned any of this. It didn’t matter that Donnie was talking to someone else, a much more handsome someone else. It didn’t matter that someone else was standing very close and kept laughing at everything he said. It didn’t matter that Donnie had been there for at least ten minutes now while Whitaker was stuck with Trinity trying to get Mel drunk enough to tell her who her new mystery boyfriend was.
