Summary
What was supposed to be a simple fun investigation at a haunted mental asylum, turned out to be the worst day for Colby and Sam, or Colby alone? Colby wants to believe his best friend — Sam is still somewhere as a spirit, but to believe something, you'll have to play a game of risk.
Or
An Alternative Universe, where Sam died because of a demonic spirit and Colby is grieving so bad he wants to connect to Sam in every way possible, even if he might die.

Summary
Shadow Milk Cookie has lived with his counterpart: Pure Vanilla Cookie, for quite a while. It was getting near Pure Vanilla's favorite Holiday: Christmas, and Pure Vanilla was getting all excited for it, decorating the castle and all. Well, somehow, a silly time to tease the King had turned out to be a complete switch in their relationship.

“Parrot.?” Wifies mumbled, stirring awake, somehow he sounded genuinely sleepy, which he did not expect by the way he acted so robotic. “Are you okay?” He immediately asked, somehow he definitely got used to the darkness and looked at the avian, who was pathetically curled up on his bed, sitting in a corner. If he lies, would Wifies know that? Probably, it's so obvious to see.
“I just had a nightmare, forget it,” Parrot mumbled as quietly as possible, but Wifies heard it anyway and sat up. “I can help you reduce that feeling of helplessness during this situation.” It didn't feel like a question, more like a command. He also knew he feels specifically helpless when he gets nightmares. Parrot probably told him about it so far ago that he was startled to hear that as well before he remembered he mentioned it like one time. He remembered that “nightmare”, how him and Wifies stood on that mountain, and Parrot's words.
“Thank you for being my friend.”
They stung more than they're supposed to.
