Summary
This is an AU piece of writing based off my original, slow burn fic - Wicked Game.
Emlygil returns from visiting the Royal Court of Arlathan and finds her husband, Emmrich, has left her a note taking her on a scavenger hunt to various locations, retelling stories from their relationship - of domestic bliss and inappropriate activities in libraries. Of a day spent holding each other tightly on a frozen river and a love that has and continues to endure and flourish, even years later.
This is my submission for The Fade's First Collaboration Event (2025) - I was partnered with the wonderful Deny_the_issue who made three peices of art for this one shot fic - these are interspersed within this work. Thank you for being my partner and putting up with me picking ALL of the prompts available!
