It was unusual for Lohen to be awake in the middle of the night. A life on the road taught him to cherish any moment of sleep he got, and therefore when he slept he often slept like the dead. Illuga had told him on more than one occasion that he had to check for a pulse in the morning.
So when Lohen woke in the middle of the night after what was probably a nightmare, he didn't remember, he was surprised to find that it was still dark out and his boyfriend was asleep.
