Summary
Sokka traveled around the world most of his life, and he could tell you for free that nobody threw a better summer solstice party than the Fire Nation. It also paid off to be best friends with the Fire Lord – the palace cooks made the best spicy meat, flaming hot steamed buns, even spicy beer!
Though, now that all the guests were staring at him because he dared to touch the Fire Lord’s face, Sokka wondered if he’d had too many of those beers…

Summary
When Zuko got invited to join Sokka for a hunt, he scarcely imagined it was going to be a multi-day affair away from civilization. Icy winds, endless snowfall, hunger, fatigue – all of that awaited them on their trek to find prey deserving of being Sokka’s trophy.
Despite all that, if only Zuko knew how enthralling was Sokka’s look when he took down his prey, bloodlust shimmering in the blue of his eyes… He would have come down here much sooner. It was an honor to bask in the glory of a good, clean kill, and to have the hunter kiss you with his prey’s blood still warm on his face.

Summary
Sokka was beyond proud to hear master Piandao praise his swordsmanship. He beamed with said pride as bright as the sun while the master asked him if he could show the young Fire Lord Zuko how it should be done. Sokka was happy to do that, until he looked over at Zuko and saw the most intense gaze he’d ever seen stare into his soul. Those gold eyes drilling into him knocked the wind out of his lungs, but the master already spoke, and so Sokka had little left to do but try and… show the Fire Lord… who was also his secret boyfriend… how sword bending should be done…

Sokka decides to arrange a romantic dinner for Zuko, so he shops around the Fire Nation capital. He gets to learn different opinions of the common folk about their fiery leader, as well as the rumors about the Fire Lord’s not-so-secret exotic trophy boy – that’s him, by the way. Some of those opinions let him appreciate Zuko all the more, other ones make him wish he could just hit people in the face with the sharp end of his boomerang…
Ah, but it’s all worth it because, at the end of the day, he is going to enjoy a dinner with his Zuko.
