Summary
Now, he doesn't know exactly when Tim gets up and goes to the kitchen, but he gets up and comes back just as fast. "Here," Tim says. He hands Jason an ice pop before plopping himself on the couch beside him again, fan circulating warm air. It was better than being stagnant, Jason supposes but he's still overwhelmed and warm.
"Thanks," Jason replies, grabbing the blue ice pop from Tim's hand. He can't remember the last time he'd had a freezer pop, if he were honest.
It doesn't take long for Jason to look over at Tim and when he does, his brain short circuits.
Jason knows he was staring despite the voice in the back of his mind that suspiciously sounded like a certain British butler telling him that it was rude to stare, but really who could blame him? It's hard not to when Tim fucking Drake looks as eye catching as he does; he's in a crop top and shorts that left nothing to the imagination, sucking on a popsicle like it was nobody's business.

Summary
"Have you ever had a first love?" Dick asks him, slinging his arm around Tim's shoulders. It was supposed to be an innocent question, but for Tim it was….something else. It was a question from Dick that nearly shell shocked Tim into silence. He wasn't sure how he wanted to delve into the topic, if he were completely honest, because it was a long and complicated story involving leaked identities and ressurection that Tim didn't want to touch with a ten foot pole.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Grayson," Tim says. It's probably way too quick all things considered and Tim hoped that, through all the drunken stupor, no one would notice him taking a quick glance at Jason before answering.
Now look, Tim knows he can just lie. He could lie and pull it off rather convincingly, but with how candid everyone in the room had been with their answers it would have just felt bad. This was supposed to be a team bonding moment and outright lying to them would not be conducive to well…team bonding.
"Come on, Tim," Dick replies, "Don't act like you've never had one."

Summary

They stood silently for a few minutes before Tim's thoughts about the situation came spilling out. "I thought this couldn't happen to you," Tim points out, "Ya know, Lazarus Pit goo revival and all that."
"Welp, I don't take regular dips in green revival goo like a certain old fart," Jason says, "So I got the super boost once immediately after being dipped like some fucked up Achilles but never again. So I'm not immune to illness. It just happens less often than normal people." And Tim supposed that made more sense than what he'd been thinking, to be honest. The reason Ra's was practically immortal wasn't because he took a dip in the green spa water once to be brought back to life and that's it like Jason had; he made it a habit to dip in just for shits and giggles every other Tuesday and made it the world's problem, so the basis of the knowledge Tim had was meant for superhuman levels of Lazarus Pit exposure.
Jason was a quick dip and never anything more than that after Talia got to him. There was no way that the situations were the same, now that Tim thought about it a little more.

Summary
He pours another small cup of coffee, pushing It toward the creature who'd still been staring. "It's not gonna kill you," Jason says, "It's coffee."
Jason isn't sure what the creature in front of him was going to sound like, but he was sure it wasn't going to be the calm voice that came out. "Coffee?" Tim questions, the word foreign on his tongue.
Jason supposes they don't necessarily have coffee wherever Tim comes from, now that he thinks about it, so it shouldn't be surprising to him when he's asked.
"Yeah," Jason continues, "You take the cup like this and drink it." Jason brings his own up of coffee to his lips, tipping it back as he watches Tim—the demon he's all but adopted at this point, apparently—mirror his actions.

Suddenly, Tim feels incredibly shy. Jason's hands inch ever closer to the waistband of his sweats, carefully moving past the waistband, and Tim can't help but blush beet red at the thought of Jason seeing the little number underneath his very plain outfit. Tim notices Jason tilt his head to the side at the feeling of the lace fabric at his fingertips, sliding Tim's sweatpants down to see what was going on.
"Tim," Jason asks, eyeing him up and down, "Is this for—"
"Do you like them?" Tim manages to say before he feels Jason's hands on his chest and slight falling.

“I look stupid, don’t I?” Jason questions, resisting the urge to grab a makeup wipe from Tim’s pouch. It would ruin Tim’s hard work, so Jason really doesn’t want to smudge it.
Even if he does feel shy with two pride flags painted on each of his arms and black eyeliner. Jason really couldn’t explain why, if he were honest. Everyone in the room saw him and knew him for who he was; there was no judgement from anyone in the room but he still felt apprehensive.

Tim laughs. Jason isn't particularly wrong in that regard, if he were honest. This meeting was a courtesy meeting, if he were fair. He knows he didn't have to be there if he didn't want to, but it was either him or Bruce and Bruce definitely didn't want to be here. He'd have to do a run through of all the previous meetings in under an hour for him to know what the hell was going on.
So here he was, going through a meeting that was such a slog that Tim was close to falling asleep with his eyes open. There was only so much that Tim could take before he loses his mind.

Jason grabs the pack of cigarettes out of his pocket, shaking the box. He'd been running low and, quite honestly, he knows he should have went to the corner store to pick up more if he wanted to last out on this gala event—far from all the rich people in the main room of the manor who'd try and bum a cigarette off him despite having more money to their names than Jason could ever manage to think about in his lifetime.
He steps out on to one of the balconies with his cigarette and his lighter clutched tightly into his hand.
