Medkit agreed on joining Sword and Rocket, going to THE party of the year,the Event Party, which takes place after the themes of the event got revealed and after the event of this summer finally came up.
Loosing them in the crowd, while also a tad bit drunk, he gets overwhelmed by the loud and crowded partyroom.
Somewhere else on the party, Subspace is also having a bad time, also a bit drunk and also overwhelmed by the loud and crowded partyroom.
Going outside into an alley behind the location in which the party takes place inside, Medkit calms down but his thoughts are stuck thinking about "someone"./> He would rather forget about him entirely.
Life likes to see him pissed off though, so it lets him meet this exact person in that alleyway.
Or: They are dumb, miss each other and are slightly tipsy so they argue but end up kissing, Medkit revealing some feelings he tried to hide

Needing a place to hide from rain, storm and thunder which surprised them on their date , they find Medkit's apartment building and decide to ask for his support.
They find out quickly that they are in fact not the only ones staying at his apartment for the night.
Sword feels not too well about this.
