Every day spent with Sound, his sanity slipped further and further. It was a wonder how he'd managed to stay relatively sane for as long as he had. It would be perfectly understandable if he'd lost his mind the first time his eyes rested on this tempting siren, or at the first slide of that addicting mouth against his.
Or maybe he already had lost his mind. Insane people probably didn't recognize themselves as such, after all. He could've lost his sanity a long time ago and he wouldn't even know it, too busy wrapped up in his own bubble of Sound.
And if there was anyone who could drive him crazy, it was Sound Saran.

“P’Q, who was that?” Toey’s voice was sickly-sweet, his smile too-wide as he adjusted his glasses so they sat correctly on his nose bridge. Something about his tone gave Q the shudders.
“That was my friend, Peem.”
“Ohh, so P’Q likes to sleep over at his friends’ houses?” Toey hummed, setting his cup down on the counter, only to rest his hand on Q’s upper arm instead. Just like that, his sharp smile melted into one of warmth, eyes wide and pleading atop pinkened cheeks.
“P’Q should come to Toey’s house.” His voice was honey-sweet, colored with layers of temptation, and Q was helpless to resist.

But Win was looking at him with a raised eyebrow, silently questioning his odd behavior. So he had to improvise, grabbing a plant from a nearby shelf. “I love this plant!”

Wave wasn’t fooled by Lava's outwardly harsh actions. It was all an act, a ploy to keep people from getting too close to him, Wave was sure of it. He’d caught a glimpse of something soft and gentle, and he longed for that tenderness to make itself known to him again.
He wanted to stubbornly grasp onto that elusive kindness, to hold it tightly between his fingers and drag it back out kicking and screaming, until Lava had no choice but to acknowledge his secret soft side.
“I’m sick of being your errand boy. If you like Dr. Wut so much, then have him wash your underwear.”
Well, maybe that wasn’t the right way to go about it.

Koh was a rosebud that had yet to blossom, surrounded by complex layers lying in wait for James’ greedy fingers to unravel them and expose the innermost parts of his psyche. James only needed the courage to reach out and grab onto those soft petals, slowly peeling them back until he got to the center, ending with a beautiful rose in full bloom.
Koh’s emotions were shining brightly in his eyes, hanging off his full lips, spelled out in his darling freckles. James was the only one who could decode the secret messages drawn in those beautiful constellations that kissed his cheeks.

Itt was very familiar with bruises, as he’d been in plenty of fights when he was younger. Since the injury was fresh, blood was still pooling beneath the surface of Pi’s skin.
After a few days, Pi’s bruise would bloom shades of blue and purple, reminiscent of bluebells. Itt’s favorite flower. Not only for their gorgeous color, but also their deeper meaning of gratitude and everlasting love. Such a flower was a perfect representation of how he felt towards Pi.
Unfortunately, bluebells didn't grow in Thailand. But that was okay, because Pi was his little bluebell.

With no sunlight to bend towards, what becomes of the sunflower left behind? It was doomed to wither. Beautiful, vibrant yellow petals would give way to pale, straw-colored memories of what once was. Such wisps of the past threatened to crumble at the slightest touch, laying waste to the beauty the flower once inhabited.
So, too, would Lava crumble to dust without Wave shining upon him. Wave showed him that he didn't have to play the part of a delinquent forever, misguided and misunderstood. He could bloom beautifully, just like a sunflower. Wave had given him the care he needed to blossom into his truest form. Only for him to fold in on himself as soon as his source of light disappeared, forever changed and forever incomplete.

To him, the beach represented everything he loved.
