Summary
Cold is the tip of the knife of the butcher as it enters him, cold is the blade that licks his skin like the hungry, starving wolf chewing onto the skin of the rabbit. The rabbit was him. A fragile, still, mundane being, consumed by the wretched, vile animal that took advantage of his weakness and stripped him off anything close to being human again. He was a rabbit and he was nothing. Nothing but the bones and the disgusting bits of chewed meat hanging from his lifeless ribs. (. . .)
This was not Han. This was only the corpse he left behind, the rotting remains of someone he would no longer be.
This body was not, and would never be, his anymore.
Disguised as Boushh the Bounty Hunter, Leia enters Jabba’s palace to rescue a frozen in Carbonite Han Solo — or so she expects. Things take an unexpected turn when she faces the man she loves living, breathing, and in a position unlike everything she’d ever imagined.
or a reimagined scene from Return of the Jedi with a darker touch.

Summary
“And too think that he was such a handsome groom at first sight.’’ (. . .)
“Such a shame for the bride, too. (. . .) It’s a good thing both her and the prince were drunk, though. (. . .) They really deserve each other. What a shame they’re both fucked in the head.”
Prince Han Solo of the Crown of Corellia has been arranged to marry a woman he’d never met and clings to drinking as a copying mechanism. Yet things take an unwanted turn on his very wedding day. . .

Leia knew, from the moment that Han left, that he would either return with their son or never come back at all.
She did not expect a body.

Summary
First, there was the silent, almost mute crack of the ice. The pressure of their boots onto the frozen ground and the hard snow breaking under their steps. Nothing remotely suspicious or unusual, no sign of alarm or panic.
She only heard the loud, heart-stopping breaking of snow and ice blocks when it had already been too late.
or what happens when Han and Leia get stuck inside an ice cave on Hoth, eight cellars under the surface level.

Summary
She felt beyond tired, both physically and mentally speaking, and the wisest choice would have been to let him take care of this matter as she tended to her own wounds. But Leia had long ago understood that she was a much more complicated being that she had initially thought, especially in the fields of emotions, and that often she couldn’t explain certain wants and needs of her own: it had started with Han, of course, the cause of so many of her problems yet the solutions to half already existent. The spark in the dark that lightened her tar black skies and the wrong-colored piece in the puzzle of her life that somehow fit in just right. And oh, no matter how much he would drive her insane, cursing and damning him so many damn times through the past years, she always found herself following the red thread back to the gentle touch of his arms and the soothing warmth of his presence.
Leia and Han share a moment after their escape from Jabba's palace.

Summary
The walls laughed at their imbecility, at the utterly foolish risk they had taken without thinking twice. And they laughed at Leia especially; they derided her, for it had been her betise idea to jump into the garbage chute, hadn’t it been? Yet it had seemed safe, almost logical in her mind at that moment. It had made sense, so who would have thought that those damn troopers would go as far as to turn it on?
Leia, the answer was Leia. She should have gone as far as to take into account every single possibility of this plan going wrong, no matter how little time she had had to think it through, damn those nanoseconds in which she had been barely able to breathe. She should have weighted their options before jumping in the deep end, assuming a thousand risks she hadn’t even acknowledged or accepted beforehand.
But she hadn’t done any of those.
(. . .)
'They are all going to die because they tried to save me – and it’s all my fault.’Leia's mind spirals down as her, Han, Luke and Chewbacca fight for their lives in the Death Star's trash compactor.

Summary
Was he really that much wretched by the phantoms of his past? Had he truly been robbed of any remote form of feeling without those unhealed wounds to hurt again and again? And why must this happen right then, with Leia – with the person whom he trusted more than himself, the woman for whom he’d build walls of alabaster and silver and take them down with bare hands if that’s what she’d ask him to do – of all people?
Was he, utterly and completely, beyond salvation? Was there no sacred cure or forbidden spell to release him from this cage he had, unknowingly, trapped himself in?
But Han knew the answer. He had known it for years now.
“I don’t know.’’
Han's traumas resurface during what is supposed to be an intimate moment between him and Leia.

Summary
Hope never brought any good: hope did not erase the debt on one’s head, nor stuffed his pockets with money so that he wouldn’t have to worry about tomorrow; hope did not make the world less ugly or safer or better. He was much too old for this, to fall into such childish traps and dare to believe that there was a light at the end of the dark tunnel called misery, a crack in the plasma-veil of tar draped over his eyes. Hadn’t he lost so much already because of this stupid faith he had put not once, not twice, but far too many times to consider his choices a simple mistake? Hadn’t he tasted mud and blood and had to claw out from under the earth, broken nails and coughing dirt, after every single rope he held on to broke?
Hope only led to disappointment, pain and, sooner or later, regret.
Leia dies following a fatal wound suffered while escaping from the Death Star. Han is left to deal with the aftermath of her death, haunted by a woman he didn't even know yet is forced to mourn.

Summary
He looked. . . gorgeous. Force, Leia wasn’t sure if she herself had even looked half as good ever in any dress than Han Solo did in that moment.
“Could you, um. . . You know.’’ the Corellian said with half a mouth, his cheeks coloured in the palest shade of pink possible, avoiding her gaze sheepishly. “Help zip me up, please?”
After an Alliance mission takes an unexpected turn, Han and Leia have to go under cover and hide in plain sight to save themselves. Han’s disguise, however, adds an interesting twist to their situation.
