Summary
After a night out with friends, Ada is ripped from her comfortable yet melancholy life in Frankfurt and wakes up on a mindflayer ship. She finds herself transformed into a Tiefling, and equipped with magical abilities she neither understands nor controls. Overwhelmed, confused and tadpoled, she teams up with other survivors to find a cure and, hopefully, make her way home.
Ada finds that reluctant allies can, in fact, become friends over time, that she can learn to lean on them, and that there is more than one way to be strong. As she starts to fall for Gale, Ada begins to confront the hurtful lies she has internalised about herself and finds a way to let herself be loved.Part 1 of a 3-part series. This covers Act 1 of the Game!
