Description:

Cmdr. James T. Kirk, first officer of the USS Farragut, spends an awful lot of time on the starship Enterprise. First, he's grabbing a ride back from vacation on Cesnar, next he's joining the crew for the two week journey to Vulcan. While the entire crew is happy to see him, two brunettes in particular are eager to spend time with the charming commander.

Mostly canon compliant (except when canon decides to be stupid). Check notes for the full list of deviations. Where there are scene that were featured in the show, dialogue is taken verbatim from the episode. All other words are mine. No AI was used in the writing of this series.

Main Pairing: Spock/James T. Kirk. Side Pairings: Spock/La'an Noonien-Singh, James T. Kirk/La'an Noonien-Singh, Spock/James T. Kirk/La'an Noonien-Singh.
EVERYONE IN STAR TREK IS BISEXUAL AND POLYAMOROUS BECAUSE I SAY SO.

Notes:

It all started with a little headcanon about what Spock and Kirk were getting up to off-screen during 4.03 Human Best Friend. It was supposed to stay a drabble. But then the story just kept going and going. As of writing this description, I have just started writing the fourth, and probably final, part.

EDIT: Oh boy…well, in part one of this series I was very committed to keeping everything canon compliant. But then canon got stupid, so now I’m just doing whatever I want. So, for context, I have made the following executive decisions:

4.04 - The La’an subplot didn’t happen. Not because she did anything wrong (she didn’t) but because I simply do not believe Spock would ever treat her so disrespectfully.
4.05 - The puppet episode wasn’t a dream, it all really happened.
4.06 - Was great, it can stay, although I’m going to say it happens later in the timeline.
4.07 - The silly soap opera shenanigans happened exactly the same, but the conversation between Spock and La’an in the sick bay didn’t happen.
4.08 - The whole Admiral Reeger plot simply didn’t happen, because as much as I loved Kirk in that episode, EVERYONE else (especially La’an) was so OOC in my opinion. The landing party went to the cave, got captured, and Uhura saved the day (earning herself a promotion). Meanwhile, on Enterprise, everyone was just chilling and minding their own business (minus Kirk, who wasn’t there because YOU CAN’T JUST “DROP BY” IN THE VASTNESS OF SPACE WHAT IS THIS EPISODE EVEN TALKING ABOOUT??)
