Summary
In the far future, in an alternate universe, humanity is at war against alien colonists hell-bent on conquering every inch of the universe. Twenty men, hand-picked to pilot the F1 mechas – the strongest mind-operated mechanised armours – are our best defenders against the Empire.
Oscar Piastri begins his service as the Golden Rangers squadron's newest full-time F1 mecha pilot, assigned as veteran Lando Norris' teammate.
Together, they command the twins Castor and Pollux in battle against the Empire.One is a picture of ice-cold composure, hiding the unbearable weight of a lifetime of tragedy under a stern facade.
The other weathers doubt and resentment with a mask of bright jokes and smiles, even as the death of his previous teammate makes him question his own worth as a pilot.They look and act like complete opposites. In theory, they are an ideal balanced match.
In reality? They are more alike than they think.And they must see past each other's masks first, if they want to survive and protect what they cherish.

Six rookies begin their service in the F1 Wing. None feels the pressure more than 18 year old Kimi Antonelli, who dreams of peace.
Tasked with mentoring him, George Russell vows to protect his new teammate at all cost. Even if it means seeking out his arch-nemesis’ help.
Max Verstappen also has his eyes on the rookies. As it turns out, the war is changing. Their dream may become a nightmare, and he means to fight it.
