Summary
There were only a couple of numbers that Wenlang answered during meetings. Gao Tu, for obvious reasons, Gao Qing, because she never called him directly without something important, and the day care center. The day care center usually didn’t have to call him, since they always tried Gao Tu’s phone first - which was why when his phone buzzed in the middle of his meeting with LELE DAYCARE flashing on the screen, he was surprised and a little worried.

Summary
He thought about their beginning, the tentative friendship they shared under the guise of being a beta and an alpha, the way Gao Tu had hidden his true self - out of necessity, but also out of the way he had spoken of his kind. Some of the situation they were in was his fault, he knew that, even if he had been forgiven, even if he had changed.
It was a fact he had accepted, the pain of it nowadays only a slight prick somewhere deep inside him.Series
