When Yuuri was a small child his sister told him a tragic story about one of their ancestors and how he died just before his arranged marriage. This arrangement was to bring peace, but the dead resulted in a horrible war.
As a student Yuuri visits the small town museum to write a report over his family history, the result of him putting on his ancestors ring was more then he ever thought.The Major Character death tag has to do with the start of the story. No major death in the end but it is an important part of the story so it needs to be mentioned.

Yuuri can't believe the reputation they got, just because they undid some crime syndicate while herding some old dodgers bloody cows over the prairie, as it seems to get them in more issues than is good.
Phichit loves it though. When they entered that last saloon they had been given one of the best tables, sure there had been a fight but it had nothing to do with them, and the dying man begging them to get his possessions to his sister is a worthy cause right.Except when they enter the building and find said possession they realize it might be trickier than they thought.

Victor and Chris could be the top earning playthings at Madam Nodeska's House of Carnal Delight, could being the operative word, if they didn't have other things on their mind. Like letting the world believe Madam Nodeska is actually still running the place and not stuffed in the second basements cooler for the past three years.
Warning; Assassins deal with killing. Sex Workers have sex. Neither is shunned in this story.

Although he might like calling into Tech support even more. But to all good things will come an end, tomorrow he's going to meet the person he is arranged to get married to, and if the cousin looks anything like the uncle, so he will have to put his outfits away and become presentable.

Yuuri works as a mermaid for a fancy club. A club that apparently is haunted by a ghost that develops a thing for Yuuri. Why he'll never know, but Yuuri decides to play with the ghost a bit. Seeing a ghost blush turns into the highlight of his evening.
Victor doesn't know how he died, sometimes he's not even certain he did, maybe he's always been a ghost. It's not that he minds much. That is till he walks in on one of the new mermaids getting dressed and the young man apparently is fully capable in seeing him.
