The point is that Taako used to stride into lessons late with Fantasy Starbucks in hand. The point is that he forgot about lessons once or twice -- and that’s charitable, because the other option is he just didn’t feel like showing up, and Angus wouldn’t really put that past him, though he hopes it’s not true. The point is that Taako knocked on his door at six o’clock last night with his ears perked high and his cheeks red and that giggle threatening to break through his voice and told him magic lessons were canceled the next day.
