Metanoia: The journey to change one’s mind, heart, or way of life.
Aizawa Shouta had wanted all his life to become a hero, but hearing that what he was going to become was a villain so many times made it hard for him to handle as a child. So he coped; he isolated himself, and he hid his eyes away from the world. That was what people seemed to fear most of all about him, his eyes. Yet when he was selected to take the entrance exams to attend UA High School, his entire life would change. For better or worse, he would become a hero.

Atychiphobia: Fear of failure, of not being good enough.
Aizawa has always considered himself to be a good teacher, kind and caring in his own unique way but there for all of his students when they need him. His confidence in his ability to teach them is shaken following the USJ, and the attack by the Hero Killer Stain on one of his old friends from school. As his own eyes are beginning to fail him, Aizawa hopes that there are two lessons he can pass to his students. He just hopes they listen.
