Chara had been over it... until Asriel promised to make it up to them (during the window when he still cared). Chara ends up waiting to collect until late the following night.

One resident in particular for sure knows first hand that Mercy City definitely lives up to it's reputation as the most violent city in all the county.... Hell, the world even.Meet Frisk, just one of many of the working Joes that tries to scrape on by from paycheck to paycheck. Working day in and day out with honest jobs that hardly pay anything respectable at all, but he's not worried about that. At least, not until a certain encounter, that figured out his deadly secret, says otherwise.

This is the first chapter of a mainly Frisk x Muffet ship, this is under the assumption frisk is 18 when he falls into the underground and even then this is 3 years after a true pacifist ending of undertale, a bit of a spoiler warning but meh, not really covering material from the ending. Btw fullblown romance will probably start chapter 3, and actually explicit seems will start chapter 4-5 ish probably. (Also, Frisk is capable of his save and load powers, and he still sees the stars pop up every once in a while, but he doesnt really use em for the sake of other monsters, also this frisk has done no prior runs {that he has memories of so far, but a certain few do remember =)}, but has saved and loaded files before after dying to Undyne twice, leading to a minor but everpresent fear of her, this fear probably wont be a relevant lore element though)

This AU explores characters who harbor little-to-no screentime or are underappreciated in the actual game.
