He didn’t need a nest, he didn’t. Nesting was for omegas who had regular heats and needed that primal desire for closeness; Marc hadn’t had a heat in years and didn’t need comfort from anyone or anything. Not even his family nest, not an alpha or a heat, or anything of the sort.

The ship slowly carved its way through the water, approaching the sand-strewn shores. This was the next island they needed to ransack in their search for treasure, and Maverick was eager to get it over with. He never much liked that part of piracy.
