There is no sound in the world quite so unmistakable as the sound of a cat throwing up at two in the morning. It sounds a little bit like trying to drag a carrot backwards through a colander, or what it feels like to step in something wet and gross when wearing really thick socks that are instantly soaked through by the wet gross thing, or, if you’d prefer no poetry, hgek-gek-gek-gek-GLAGH. It is a sound that is as impossible to sleep through as a gunshot.
It is a sound that has just woken Inspector Cabanela of the Special Investigation Unit up for the second night in a row.

My take on the new future, starting at the rewritten Temsik Park incident and ending, eventually, with the new version of "that night".
Who knows how long this will take to be complete! Maybe I'll keep writing it forever :D

Very much enjoying this so far! Good characterization, engaging story, worldbuilding and lore related to the ghosts, and plenty of angst.
I recommend this series to Ghost Trick fans, I am enjoying this interpretation of the new timeline
