"OYE!" Suddenly everyone went quiet it wasn’t every day that people could witness Adora angry. Her knuckles were whitening on each side, her frown couldn’t possibly get any closer and the blue of her eyes possibly turned to red. Bow was anxiously looking back and forth to Adora then to Catra, Glimmer’s fist slowly began to lower and Catra was trying to hide her amused smile. Welp guess we broke her this time she thought to herself as she took a step away from Glimmer.

It wasn't her passion that she lacked, she knew she had that and that she found that in the art of dance. But it was something else, something she could never put her finger on.
Maybe it was her, Catra realized one day, before gazing at the girl's sun-kissed face, all pale with faded freckles all over her cheeks.

She-ra didn’t react, didn’t move or flinch when Catra’s hand darted forward to grasp her jaw between her slender fingers. Catra tilted She-ra’s head to one side and then the other.
In the low light, She-ra’s eyes glowed red like freshly spilt blood. Catra let her hands travel down, fluttering from the warrior’s neck, then her collar bone, the length of her arms. She paused over the tangling red veins pulsating up She-ra’s arm.
This person in front of her looked so much like the She-ra she knew, but not in all the most important ways.
