Let's find out how Cale would ultimately ruin his chances of ever having his Slacker Life.
Slowburn romances and maybe a few action-packed plots added into the mix in which I eventually get them to live together.

The God of Death made the wrong move, now it’s even harder for Kim RokSoo. He has to live through most of The Birth of a Hero as a child.
So it's basically just little Cale speedrunning the story, fixing some stuff, and causing even more headaches, with later romantic subplot.
This is a what if cenario where the novel's world regresses 10 more years than it did in canon, on top of Cale being 8 years younger at the start than his novel counterpart.
Let me stress it, there will be no real underage stuff happening. Though there's a 13 year age gap in the begining, I'm planning to shrinking it later. You may have to read some adult conversation between them though.

His gaze shifted to the front, where he saw the crowd's reactions: surprise, concern, and those irritatingly bright, expectant eyes. His discomfort intensified. Being stuck in this form—reduced to a mere child—was far too much for him to bear.
This is ridiculous, he cursed inwardly, feeling his body tense. A lump formed in his throat, and to his utter dismay, a quiet, stifled sob escaped his lips. 'Damn it!'
He couldn't bring himself to meet the warm, concerned stares focused on him. All he could remember were the gazes from the day his parents had died—those wretched, pitying looks that gnawed at his soul. He despised them with every fiber of his being.
