Keith's abusive ex gets him pregnant and he goes to Pidge for help. Their solution? A cross-country road trip to get Keith an abortion, picking up a few strays along the way. “Here, take these. You looked cold.”
Lance is holding out some black fabric, and it’s only when Keith tentatively reaches out that he realizes that they’re gloves. And the fingers have been cut off, which somewhat defeats the point, but the gesture isn’t lost on Keith. “Thank… you?” The gloves are warm in his hands and warmer still when he puts them on.
“No problem!” He smiles brightly, in the way that would make galaxies jealous, holding magnitudes beyond. “I know they probably aren’t the best, but it’s better than nothing!”
It’s hard to fathom what more to say, especially when Keith already doesn’t talk to Lance in class since they aren’t in the same desk pod, but it luckily doesn’t matter because Lance gives a little wave and runs off back towards the playground, towards the wood chip game, almost stumbling over himself.
As he watches the blue boy walk away, Keith notices that Lance isn’t wearing any gloves himself.

Summary
Keith Kogane has grown up with the Blade of Marmora. Kolivan is like a father figure to him, Thace and Ulaz are like uncles to him, and he's lived with his mother his entire life. When his mother goes missing in action, he's told she's dead. Keith knows she's alive, though.
After regretfully running away from the only place he's known as home, he goes on a search for his mother. He soon finds one of his uncles after infiltrating a Galra ship, he finds himself helping a human find his way to Earth, a place he's only dreamed of.
Keith finds himself traveling across the galaxy making a name for himself, all while trying to keep the secret of his Galra heritage a secret, playing as another victim of the Galra Empire and trying to fit in with the other humans, because these humans may be his only hope of finding his mother.

Admittedly, they used to argue and bicker a lot, but after the whole arm cradling thing (that didn’t happen!), they settled a bit. Their rivalry turned more into teasing and playful arguing between the two. It was a new, but more than welcomed, routine. So, he didn’t really have the urge to yell at Keith for the staring.
Actually... It was kind of cute.

In a shaky, quiet voice, he said, “I think my water broke.” And the room seemed to still for a moment.
Lance stood there, the gears in his head turning before he shook his head started speaking, “Holy shit—okay—crap—no, we’re okay, baby. It’s just two weeks early, just two weeks,” he said shakily, also looking pale himself as the excitement and anxiety washed over him.

Keith startled and glanced at Lance, though not in the eyes and looked between Pidge and Matt, though also deliberately avoided her eyes too.
'KEITH, DID YOU FUCK MY BROTHER?'"A confusion about their ages leads to a discussion of Keith's one-night-stands... including his one with Matt. Pidge is not happy, but Lance can't get his mind off of it. Keith has to navigate his love for a post-Allura-death Lance who is know hellbent on finding out how Keith is in bed.
The tags are a mess but it's heavy on the Allura aftermath and smutty flashbacks because what a fun combo

If anyone wanted to get this information from Keith, they’d probably have to strangle him, take Shiro away, and break his knife over their knee but he’s generous so he’ll tell you:
He loves his hair getting played with. He loves it so much. Ever since he was a little kid and had bad nightmares and his papa played with his hair to help him relax, he’s loved it. He wasn’t sure if it was an anxiety thing, autistic thing, or Galra thing, but it was the number one way to subdue the fire in him.
