Summary
Sunny, unable to cope with the repressed guilt, allows Omori to subsume his will and take control. Following this, Omori takes a knife with him to bed and accidently stabs himself as he attempts to awaken from his dreams. He comes to in a hospital, his mother having found him that early morning before it was too late, but finds the real world too full of pain, of suffering, and retreats into his mind once again, hopefully for good this time.
Meanwhile, the outside world attempts to cope with the loss of Basil, having been found dead from suicide. Aubrey cracks from guilt, Kel blames her, and Hero retreats once more. Not even sleep grants them reprieve, as the three find themselves drawn into a colorful world next to a familiar monochrome boy...

It started with Mari Sora, a young girl with a bright future who's life was cut tragically short. It was an unexplainable, tragic suicide, expected by none, wrecking the lives of countless she knew.
It continued with Basil Monia, a lonely boy saddled with burdens of the past. A death that was sudden, but not particularly unforeseen. Those who knew him relished in despair and guilt, wondering if they could've changed this fate had they comforted the boy during his days alive.
It proceeded with Sunny Sora, a notoriously depressed boy who barely left his home. His death surprised none, yet left people sobbing. He followed the departure of the two previously mentioned, whilst leaving the rest of his friends distraught and in shambles.
Once, twice, and now three times. What did they ever do to deserve this?

A fic that will focus on the feelings of Kel, Aubrey and Hero after the very underrated neutral ending! Aubrey, Kel and Hero-centric, but Hero ends up with the most focus.
This is heavy, heavy angst. I would consider the ending "bittersweet," but this may be downright depressing for some. Read with caution! <3 -
