He sighed and turned to look at his mother, where she was impatiently waiting. She had a bright blue ball grown on and was wearing her beautiful golden crown. Standing next to her was his father, he was wearing a golden suit and a red tie, his wings folded… but not hidden...
“Mijo! Vámonos!” she scolded him, grabbing his hand, dragging him into the ball. “¡Están a punto de nombrar nuestro reino!”
“Déjalo en paz, Val.”
“Mamá, Papá calmarse! Todo está bien!” he chuckled, fixing up his uniform, looking forward, as the doors opened for them.
His dad smiled and waved as they began calling out their names, looking at everyone to start and go to chat.

He wasn’t thinking clearly — not since the moment he walked into the room, and as his eyes trailed over Sapnap all he could think about was doing something so incredibly stupid.“Teach me.” Karl breathed out, not as a question or a suggestion, but as a command. He looked directly into Sapnap’s eyes as he said it, and even though it was barely above a whisper, the way that Sapnap’s eyebrows raised indicated that he had definitely heard it.
“Teach you?” Sapnap repeated, a playful smile creeping its way onto his lips. There were the smallest traces of a chuckle as he then said, “You’re not serious.”
“I am.” Karl said, lifting his chin up.
“You’re not.” Sapnap deadpanned.
Insistent, Karl stepped forward, “If you’re so good at kissing… then teach me.”
Sapnap offhandedly mentions that the reason all of Karl's dates aren't working out is because he's bad at kissing, and Karl is desperate to prove him wrong, even if that means asking him for help.

Summary
Crush is such a dumb word--such a dumb concept, even--but God, it's accurate. Karl is being quite literally crushed by his thing for Sapnap. It's taking up his entire mind, and he's exhausted. Sapnap acts like this with all his friends, he can't feel the same. That would mean he probably likes Dream and George and Quackity and... literally everyone else in their friend group, too. He needs to stop pretending like he's so special, it's gonna come back and slap him in the face.

“Karl, you’re so cold, your lips are literally blue.” He laughs incredulously.
“Wanna warm them up for me?” The words are out of his mouth before he can stop them, and Sapnap’s eyes fly open once the statement sinks in. “Kidding! Oh gosh, no, I was kidding."
