Meanwhile, Ed has to deal with his feelings upon seeing Stede again, so much so that Izzy decides take matter into his own hands.

Summary
It's 2017. Blackbeard is a famed thief, whose crew signs on with a tall ship or yacht, scouts out the valuables while the ship sets out for international waters, and then Blackbeard sneaks aboard, ties up the crew, robs them, and leaves. Izzy has just met this incredible ponce of a man who has entered the Transatlantic Tall Ship Regatta with no experience, and Izzy thinks he should be the next target. The ponce, of course, is Stede. One problem: he's already seen Izzy, Fang, and Ivan, so Ed, who hasn't joined a target's crew all season, will have to do it alone.
Another problem: it's love at first sight.

Summary
Blackbeard is a renown theme park engineer and designer at Queen Anne’s Adventure Park. He is most well known for his pirate dark ride with immaculate animatronics. No one knows his real name or what he looks like, only that he resembles that of the Blackbeard animatronic from the ride.
Stede Bonnet was a businessman in a stuffy office who divorced his wife, quit his job, and moved to get into his real passion, wardrobe and costuming for theme parks. For now, he works at the lighthouse cafe, right next to pirate adventure.

In which, in honor of Ewen Bremner, Buttons starts out his life as Spud Murphy, and Spud's shitty friends are also shitty pirates -- the Trainspotting fusion that literally no one asked for.
“That shite’ll kill you,” Sick Boy observes, idly. “Snuff is the true gentleman’s vice.”
“Is it now?” Mark asks him, looking over at him sidelong. He knows for a fact that Simon has used snuff exactly once, when he’d pinched a gent’s snuffbox down at the docks, before either of them had gone to sea. He’d snorted too much, too fast, and then sneezed the whole noseful out messily, all over Mark’s coat.
Sick Boy does not appear to remember this episode. He says, “That’s a fact,” and, “When I’ve got my own ship, I’ll have my own personal supply,” and there he goes again.
Mark rolls his eyes and takes a puff from his pipe. All anybody wants to talk about on this god-forsaken, becalmed hell-ship is mutiny, and everyone is convinced that he’ll be the captain, in the event that they succeed.

Stede and his crew have stolen a Merchant vessel and are looking for the revenge assuming Blackbeard is aboard. Ed is not prepared for the disappointment that lies ahead.
The crew aboard the Revenge think Blackbeard has been killed and thrown overboard during a midnight raid. Izzy isn’t so sure however life must go on, how long will the crew take orders from a man they don’t respect before they snap?

Essentially :
Stede has recently lost his father, and is processing the fact he’s getting a divorce. After so much time tied to his job working under his father, and in an unhappy marriage he decides it’s time to find himself. Since he was young he had a love for the finer things in life including fine dining. He’s stuck one day and decides he should create his own restaurant.
Edward Teach is a semi-famous chef who works under the name of Blackbeard who is going through a midlife crisis. He’s tired of fame, his restaurant is always being praised it’s to the point where he could cook up anything and people would somehow still think it’s good. There was no surprising people anymore and people weren’t coming for his food anymore but rather his name.
A one month stay and abrupt departure of Stede who’d leave kind notes about the food at the hotel restaurant that was hosting Blackbeard sets in motion this story.

The ‘crew’ in question looked at each other knowingly. Stede picked up on it and hesitated, noticing their surroundings for the first time.
“What… what did happen to you guys?”
“You left.”After S01E10, Stede and the abandoned crew learn how to be proper pirates and steal/fight their way back to The Revenge, Blackbeard works through some difficult emotions, and don't worry: Lucius is alive.

What if Ed's actions weren't entirely his own? If there is something influencing him? Maybe the Kraken isn't as metaphorical as we all thought, or maybe it is.
Stede still wants to fix things with Ed, even after Ed tried to kill his crew, but there's more going on than he's aware of. Between tracking down his missing crew and figuring out what's going on with Ed, Stede has to survive everything thrown his way.
Starts after S1 ends, and is a post-canon fix-it. Very slow burn.-
