Summary
Part One:
The story starts in Season 5 as Quinn and Carrie are leaving the storage facility having secured her backup plan. At the end of Season 4, Dar Adal did not help Haqqani escape and Saul did not betray Carrie, but he is disappointed with her decision to leave the Agency and work with Otto During. Otto is not romantically interested in Carrie. There is no jihadist sarin gas plot.Parts Two And Three:
The plot is sort of an alternate version of S6 and S7, reimagined without Quinn having been exposed to sarin gas and being, you know, alive.COMPLETE

Carrie bites her lip, takes a deep breath, and Quinn is suddenly terrified. But she surprises him. «I wasn’t gonna say that. Why did you think I’d say that?»

Summary
Quinn gives his final warning, thinking she’s insane, then exhales, long and slow, the sniper’s centering breath. He’s pulling the trigger so smoothly he just clips her arm, thank god. He hears her scream, sees her hit the ground.
“He’s inside! Pick her up, for God’s sake!” Quinn demands over the comms, his voice almost breaking. He’s on his feet on the roof, running down to her.
In an instant, he goes from enraged with frustration to desperate to make sure she’s okay. Inside the van all the guys immediately get the fuck out of his way: it is a foregone conclusion that his hands will be on her body for this emergency.
